·        Started preparing innovative lesson plan and teaching aids.

Special Responsibilities undertaken:

·        Introduced innovative ideas to learn English.

·        Conducted Remedial classes for weak students of 8th standard.

Difficulties Faces/ how you managed the situation?

This week I got so many extra hours. But I managed the teaching by proper planning and time management. I am planning to do something creative.

Areas that require further improvement:

Ø  I should improve my pronunciation.

Ø  I should be little more creative in taking classes.

Ø  Should prepare good activity cards

Self-Reflection and Rating:

o   Could finish the portion at accurate time.

o   Followed lesson plan and used teaching aids effectively.

Internship Fourth Week

REFLECTION OF FOURTH WEEK OF INTERNSHIP PRACTICE

School: St.Goretti’s

Date:4/12/2017 to 8/12/2017

Coverage of curricular component:

• ·         On Monday I had taken the chapter A Day in the Country. Role play method was very effective.
• ·         Tuesday also followed the same pattern and included some interesting rapport.
• ·         On Thursday  got two hours and finished two lesson plans. Along with  I have taken revisions to prepare the students for writing exam .
• ·         Totally I have taken 22 lesson plans.

Participation in co scholastic activities:

•  On Thursday we along with the school students provided a helping hand to oakhi survivers of Trivandrum districts by supplying around 1300 food packets.

Progress of other practical during the week:

• mentor observation
• self reflection and peer evaluation

Special responsibilities undertaken:

• Class management during  teacher’s meeting
• Food packaging for oakhi survivors.
• Weekly evening duty.
• Class management.
• Assisted the students n computer lab.

REFLECTION OF THIRD WEEK OF INTERNSHIP PRACTICE

School: St.Goretti’s

Date: 27/11/2017 to 1/12/2017

Coverage of curricular components:  

• ·         I followed The Nightingale and the Rose on Monday.
• ·         I used some videos and help the students to use language in the class
• ·         Role play method was so effective in the class and I finished the chapter on Thursday.
• ·         On Friday I started a new chapter A Day in the Country.  have taken an extra period to discuss the previous chapter.   

Participation in co scholastic activities:  

• ·         supported the students for kalotsavam.

Progress of other practical during the week:

• ·         Self reflection and peer evaluation
• ·         Mentor observation.

Special responsibilities undertaken

•          Invigilation duty for an exam conducted by the school.
• ·         Assisted the students in computer lab
• ·         Weekly evening duty.
• ·         UP class management.
